How do I get a whitelabelled version of Kitbag.com ?

One question I often get asked is "How do I get a whitelabelled version of Kitbag.com ?"

For more information, there is an online presentation that you can watch here (or you can download the Powerpoint version here). This shows some examples of current Kitbag whitelabel partners & affiliates, and provides some other relevant information.

Essentially though, we are able to provide any website owner or company / brand with a FREE whitelabelled / custom branded version of Kitbag.com, such that they can link to it and promote over 10,000 sports products as if it was their own sports store. Any sales that are made on your whitelabelled store will accrue commissions just as they would if you linked into Kitbag normally as an affiliate or partner.

We can also setup a whitelabel store to have a 'friendly' url assigned to them, for example www.kitbag.com/yourbrand can be setup to be a link to which you can promote both online & offline (your magazine, press releases, flyers & leaflets, articles etc). This 'friendly' link would be setup to pass through the relevant tracking technology, which means you would accrue commissions for the next 30 days just as with normal affiliate links.

There are two ways of setting up a whitelabelled version of Kitbag, each with their own merits / advantages & distinct methods of operation:

AS A KITBAG AFFILIATE:
This solution is available via the Affiliate Window network. Commission rates on sales are:

0-10 sales in a month = 5%
11-25 sales in a month = 7%
26-49 sales in a month = 10%
50+ sales in a month = 12%

Activity as an affiliate is setup on your website via clicks being sent & tracked using Affiliate Window's tracking system. This solution gives full access to the complete array of Affiliate Window promotional tools, for example:

full, real-time click track analysis, which details metrics such as number of adverts & link impresssions, clicks, click through rates, conversion rates per click & overall, number of pending & confirmed sales, value of pending & confirmed sales etc.
product sales information - details relating to each converted click which tells you about the actual products that the customer bought - see this post for more information on this.
access to hundreds of constantly updated Kitbag banners to help you promote the various Kitbag ranges. New banners are created as more kits and products are introduced on Kitbag.
availability of the full Kitbag product inventory as a data feed - available for manual or automatic download. This feed is automatically refreshed every 24 hours via an upload of all in stock Kitbag products to Affiliate Window's product system.
use of Affiliate Window's ShopWindow API (see link for links to technical docs & more info) to enable automatic listings of "your sports products" and scope to integrate these products within your main site hierachy.
full flexibility to create, manage & setup your own content widgets, which will be populated with products from Kitbag's latest stock feed to Affiliate Window.

How to apply for this option:

fill in this form. This will allow you to apply to become an affiliate to Kitbag through an application to Affiliate Window. If you are approved as an affiliate, you will receive an email confirmation detailing your Affiliate Window affiliate ID (a 5-digit number).
Email a good quality version of your company / brand image or logo to me, ensuring you quote your Affiliate Window affiliate ID at the same time.
Our graphic designers will create the whitelabel image setup for your store and we will set this up to automatically work for all your affiliate links you send via Affiliate Window.
We will confirm when the whitelabel setup is complete (typically 2-3 days), and advise you about links and other applicable information.
You are then free to promote Kitbag via banners, text links, product feeds, widgets etc. New content & products on Kitbag will be details in new posts on the Kitbag affiliate blog. Register here to receive Kitbag affiliate blog posts automatically as emails.
Commissions are paid out by Affiliate Window directly, twice per month on confirmed / despatched orders.

AS A DIRECT KITBAG PARTNER:
This option works for smaller & more niche websites & setups where there there is a requirement for a fixed set of links (i.e. specific content websites) or if there's a specific promotional burst of activity planned to support a particular event or marketing campaign. Typically, a direct Kitbag partner setup is one where the level of reporting or integration is not as important as it is in an affiliate arrangement. Commission rates are fixed and will be based on an expected / potential traffic and the anticipated synergy between Kitbag and your site or brand. This will be agreed prior to the setup commencing.

How to apply for this option:

Send me an email with details of your site or brand. If possible, please supply any demographic data, visitor volumes etc to your site will help build ideas on how we can best work together. This will allow us to guage the various levels of promotion we think may be applicable, and this will then lead on to discussions about applicable commission levels.
If both parties decide to progress, you will be asked to email a good quality version of your company / brand image or logo.
Our designers will create the whitelabel image setup for your store and we will set this up to automatically work for your whitelabelled site.
We will confirm when the whitelabel setup is complete (typically 2-3 days), and advise you about links and other applicable information.
Promotional banners can downloaded from the Kitbag affiliate blog as new posts are added for new products & ranges. New content & products on Kitbag will be details in new posts on the Kitbag affiliate blog. Register here to receive these posts automatically as emails.
After each calendar month end, reports will be emailed to a contact that you designate, which will detail the number of sales, the amounts of sales revenue generated, a list of the products bought etc. You simply then invoice us for the agreed commission amounts each month.
