Manchester United have made some interesting signings following the sale of Cristiano Ronaldo to Real Madrid. The striker Micheal Owen joined on a free transfer from recently relegated Newcastle United, and the winger Antonio Valencia has joined for a fee believed to be around £16million.
Many fans feel that the most interesting signing is Michael Owen, considering his injury plagued career over recent years. Sir Alex Ferguson must believe that he still has something to offer, and so many football fans will be watching Owen's time at Man Utd with interest.
