It's coming up to that time of year again - the start of the new 2009/10 English football season! Hoorah!

As a Burnley fan about to see his team enjoy their first ever season in the Premier League, it can't come quick enough for me ... I've had to recently resort to talking to my wife on Saturdays / Sundays due to lack of football ... this is not good!
The new season will be the 130th season of competitive football in England, and will begin on 8th August 2009 for the Championship, League 1 and League 2 and 15th August 2009 for the Premier League. The season will finish on 2 May 2010 for the Premier League, and 9 May 2010 for the other three Divisions. Of course, a lot of the main focus will be on the Premier League, with both Man Utd and Liverpool neck and neck on league titles, and upstarts Man City spending big recently to try and muscle in.
To celebrate the imminent start of the new football season, we have decided to run an affiliate competition across our 3 affiliate networks a £500 cash prize!
Here's how it works - for each confirmed Kitbag sale that any Tradedoubler, Affiliate Window or Affiliate Future Kitbag affiliate makes from, they are given a “virtual” raffle ticket, with 1 £500 winner being selected at random once the competition ends. So the more sales that an affiliate makes, the more chance of them winning the £500 cash prize!
The competition will run from the first Premier League game kickoff time (3pm on Saturday 15th August 2009) and will end at 2.59pm on Friday 14th September 2009. Every confirmed sales during this period will qualify for a virtual raffle ticket. The winning affiliate will be contacted directly after the competition ends, and the prize will be paid as a bonus into the affiliate's account through their affiliate network.
